LATV 10 Community Access Cable

LATV 10, Lakes Area Community Television, serves as the area's community access cable channel serving Columbus, Forest Lake, and Scandia. Local public access channels are carried on Midcontinent Cable channels, LATV 10, and Ranger 20, which air 24-7. Columbus City Council meetings are broadcast on LATV Channel 10, in addition to some school board and county meetings.

LATV 10 airs important community events programming such as the Columbus Fall Festival. Viewers will also find business, environmental, and entertainment programming, as well as local religious services on the station.

Ranger 20, the station's education channel, airs programming regarding the schools in the cities of Columbus, Forest Lake, and Scandia. 

People from Columbus, Forest Lake, and Scandia make up the six-member Forest Lake Cable Commission (FLCC), which sets policy for the station. Each city appoints a City Council member and a citizen representative to the commission. The commission meets bi-monthly at 4 p.m. at the Forest Lake Senior Community Center - 767 4th St. SW, Forest Lake. Meetings are open to the public.
