CSAH 23 (Lake Drive) Corridor Study

The Anoka County Highway Department (ACHD) is conducting a study on the portion of CSAH 23 (Lake Drive) starting at its intersection with CSAH 14 (Main Street) in the City of Lino Lakes and ending at its intersection with Camp 3 Road.

According to ACHD's website for the study, the study "will focus on understanding the wants and needs for the corridor by the community and developing a plan for a safe and effective transportation in the corridor." Goals for the study include: "identifying a future roadway design that is compatible with local and regional needs; providing safe, efficient and reliable mobility for all traffic modes; prioritizing the safety and comfort of pedestrians and bicycles through expansion of trail network; implementing access control where feasible; and supporting the existing and future planning goals of Lino Lakes and Columbus."

ACHD invites all interested parties to review the current proposal and provide feedback on the project's website linked below. The more information ACHD receives from residents and workers in Columbus, and all those that travel the route on a regular basis, the better they can fulfill the needs of the Lake Drive corridor in the future.
