Board Position: Planning Commission Vacancy

The City is looking to for one resident to fill an at-large vacancy on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is a group of five (5) residents appointed by the City Council.
Charged with charting the future of the City, the group makes recommendations to the City Council on planning and zoning issues, land use, studies, ordinance amendments and community development. The Planning Commission's role is advisory, and involves reviewing all applications under the zoning or subdivision ordinances before consideration by the City Council.
Planning Commission meetings are held twice each month on the first and third Wednesdays starting at 6 p.m. in the City Chambers.
