Columbus Fall Fest 2025

Columbus is ready to celebrate autumn in style! From thrilling harness races and a classic movie under the stars to a full day of family fun in the park and a Lions community breakfast to wrap it all up, Fall Fest 2025 has something for everyone.

Friday, September 19 – Racing & A Movie

The weekend kicks off at Running Aces, where the excitement of Columbus Night at the Races begins at 6:00 p.m. with local businesses sponsoring the evening’s lineup. After the final race, the fun continues with a nostalgic twist: the parking lot transforms into a one-night-only “ride-in movie theater.” Around 8:00 p.m., families and friends can tune their car radios to a special FM frequency and enjoy The Goonies on the big screen, just like an old-school drive-in.

Saturday, September 20 – A Day at the Park

On Saturday, the heart of Fall Fest comes alive at Columbus City Park, City Hall, and the Community Center. From morning through late afternoon, the park will be buzzing with activity. Visitors can stroll through the exhibitor area, meet local organizations, and watch live demonstrations—from K-9 units and drone flights to fire department rescue displays.

Throughout the park, kids will find plenty to keep them busy, from bounce houses and games to face painting, bingo, and a petting zoo. Classic cars roll into town for the car show, while live music fills the air from the beer garden stage. Hungry? The Lions will be serving up hearty food favorites, cold drinks, and popcorn, with an Ice Cream Truck bringing a sweet touch to the day. Whether you’re looking for learning, laughter, or a little relaxation, Saturday has it all.

Sunday, September 21 – Pancakes & Praise

Fall Fest wraps up on a warm, community-minded note with the Columbus Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the Community Center. From 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast while supporting the local food shelf. At 9:30 a.m., Crossroads Evangelical Covenant Church leads Worship in the Park with live music. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the outdoor service—or, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, head inside the church just across the park.

A Celebration of Community

Whether you come for the races, the classic cars, the ice cream, or the pancakes, Fall Fest is a time to gather with neighbors, celebrate Columbus, and create memories together. Mark your calendars for September 19–21, 2025, and join us for a weekend filled with tradition, fun, and community spirit.
