ACCAP Senior Information Line

Senior Information Line (763-783-4707) is a phone service specifically designed to connect older persons or their family members to community services and resources. Anyone may call for information regarding housing, support, transportation, chore services or any other need for a senior they care about. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

ACCAP Senior Kinship

The Senior Kinship Program connects volunteers to seniors living in Anoka County. Some services include companionship, outings, running errands, and providing medical and non-medical transportation. We strive to help people remain independent in their homes, and to provide a helping hand to Anoka County senior residents that may be isolated or home-bound. Through community exposure and interactions with our clients, Senior Kinship Volunteers further ACCAP’s mission by empowering seniors who are low income, assisting them in achieving their dreams and aspirations.

ACCAP Senior Outreach

Family members, neighbors, clergy, senior center directors, county personnel, as well as the seniors themselves, are welcome to call with concerns and request a visit by an Outreach Worker. Staff meets at the senior’s home to identify needs and discuss appropriate programs.

Anoka County Senior Services Intake Line

Adults, age 60 and over, have access to many high quality programs and services through Anoka County Senior Services (763-324-1410) and other community programs, which can assist them and their family members in learning about community resources. Social workers are available to speak about concerns over the phone or meet for a face-to-face visit.
